Returns – Refund and Exchange Policy
If you purchase an item in store or online and change your mind or you later discover that you picked the wrong colour or the item does not fit, please return it within 14 days from the receipted date (online orders only: within 21 days from the receipted date) in original condition, unworn, unwashed, with the original tags, tickets/labels attached and with your original receipt or other proof of purchase (e.g. completed order reference number). Merchandise must be completely soil and mark free. We will not accept any merchandise marked with a name.
If the merchandise is faulty, upon presentation of your proof of purchase and the merchandise within a reasonable time frame, we will seek repair from the supplier. If the product is not repaired in a reasonable time, you can choose a refund for the receipted price, a replacement item or items to equal or greater value of the receipted price.
Without proof of purchase, no refund or exchange will be offered. All refunds and exchanges are to be processed in-store only using the original tender type. EFTPOS refunds must be processed against original card details.
Extended return and exchange timeframes may be offered during the school holiday season.
Exchanges and returns of merchandise, whether purchased online or in-store can only be returned to the Uniform Shop only.
In the interest of hygiene, health reasons and for your protection, please choose carefully as we do not offer exchanges or refunds on the purchase of hats and hair accessories unless exhibiting a genuine manufacturing fault, or where otherwise required by law.
Exchanges and refunds do not apply to second hand items or discounted goods.
Sale of Second Hand Goods Policy
As a further resource and option for parents in relation to school uniforms, the uniform shop offers second hand uniforms for sale. Parents purchasing second hand uniforms benefit from the reduced costs as do those keen to pass on uniforms that have been outgrown. The takings from the second hand uniform sales contribute directly to P&C fund raising activities. Under certain circumstances and at the discretion of the Uniform Shop manager, an appointment can be made to view and purchase second hand items due to space constraints in the Uniform Shop.
The uniform shop will accept donations of second hand uniforms from families for resale at reduced prices.
All items donated must be in excellent condition and freshly laundered. Items must match stock currently being sold by the uniform shop and comply with the uniform requirements set by the school including the colour and design of fabrics.
Acceptance of goods is at the discretion of the uniform shop manager.
Parents are requested to remove any name tags prior to donation to prevent there being any confusion over ownership after the sale.
All purchases of second hand uniforms are strictly cash only. No refunds or exchanges are offered for second hand uniforms.
Postage and Shipping Policy
Online order collection – “Click and Collect”
When you order online, we strive to ensure that your experience is quick, easy and secure. Please wait for a confirmation email that your order is “ready for collection” before heading to the Uniform Shop, as we need to get your purchase ready for collection. A form of photo identification which matches the person who placed the order will need to be presented before we can hand over the fully paid items unless otherwise specified in the order. We do this to ensure all orders collected are secure. If you need someone else to collect on your behalf, please ensure you specify the person to collect in your order or an authorization letter or a copy of the tax invoice must be presented at collection before we release the items. All items must be collected within 4 weeks of the “order completed and ready for collection” email is sent.
All orders (online or paper forms) are to be picked up at the Uniform Shop only during business hours unless advised otherwise.
Online orders will be available 2 Uniform Shop working days after order has been received. All orders can be picked up when the Completed Order email is received.
Purchase of online tickets to P&C Events and events merchandise on the P&C Online Shop
All P&C events related purchases are GST-free.
Please choose carefully as tickets purchased online are non-refundable, not redeemable or transferable for cash. Pre-purchased online tickets must be presented at the door to gain entrance to the events or at collection points advised for collection of pre-ordered events merchandise. Please have your online ticket ready on your device or printed, ready for presentation.
Select ticket quantities (note the number of attendee per ticket) and click “Proceed to Checkout” at the bottom of the page. “Tickets” here also include pre-order of events merchandise.
When purchasing online, you must have a Visa/MasterCard and email access. You can either print your tickets when emailed to you, or have them ready to present on your device at the door on arrival at the events. Tickets are valid on the date and for the event shown.
We use your credit card and billing address details to bill you for the purchase and, where necessary to process the transaction, will pass this information on to relevant third parties, if required or requested by law. Your credit card information is used only for completing the purchase transaction. We will not store your credit card data on our servers. You will have to re-enter this information to make your next ticket purchase.
Chatswood Public School Parents and Citizens Association is dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information that we collect in relation to you is kept strictly secured.
We only use this information to identify your orders, provide you with our newsletters (if you have subscribed) and personalise your shopping experience with us. That is all. We do not pass on/sell/swap any of your personal details with anyone.

The payment process is protected by industry standard encryption so that we can guarantee that no one can intercept your credit card details. You are fully protected while buying on line at Chatswood Public Parents and Citizens Association. Our online merchant is QuayPay. The payment process is protected by industry standard 256 bit SSL (SecureSocket Layer) encryption between the customer’s browser and the Chatswood Public Parents and Citizens Association site,and again between the Chatswood Public Parents and Citizens Association site and the payment gateway. This prevents transaction information from being intercepted as it travels between the respective servers/computers. Customer credit card details are collected at each order, and are never Stored on the web server in any format. This eliminates the risk of customers’ financial information being accessed by any third-party.
All customer account passwords are stored using a one-way encryption algorithm (MD5). No passwords are ever stored as plain-text.
